A change in title, omitting the adjective 'technical' to describe the terms, is meant to more accurately define the contents of this volume. The basis of the index was laid by  Hakeem Uddeen Qureshi (vols. I-III) and Jos van Lent (vols. IV to VIII), whose work was then collated, augmented and edited by Peri Bearman (supplement, vol.
